How to Build a Sauna

Some people decide to build their saunas inside the home, while others prefer the great outdoors. After you’ve determined where your sauna will be, you’ll need to figure out how you’ll be heating it. For an indoor sauna, a gas or electric sauna heater is ideal. However for outdoor saunas, a wood burning heater is probably the best bet. While many feel the wood burning heater is the most authentic and ideal choice, it may be a hassle to deal with hauling wood indoors.
