Dog health symptoms and what to look out for
December 13th, 2009 by tortizJust like humans, pets can get ill or injured from time to time. The difference is that they do not talk and have to rely on other forms of communication to let their owner know that something is wrong. If you own a dog it is therefore important to a look out for certain dog health symptoms.
Looking for changes in behaviour is one of the most effective ways of noticing if your dog is ill or injured in some ways. Remember, they can’t talk but they sure can communicate. Uncharacteristic barking and growling in presence of other people can be one such change. Just like humans, if something is irritating you it can eat up your patience.
It is important to be extra present minded and empathetic with your pet from time to time, to spot the subtle symptoms that can be signs of something that your veterinarian should have a closer look at.
