Baby Ferret – Tips on Care

Baby Ferret care is very important when deciding you want a ferret as your new pet. First you want to consider the type of food they eat to make sure they have a healthy diet. Wild ferrets are carnivorous they like meat in fact in the wild they eat rabbits and mice. Poultry fat supplies a better balance of essential fatty acids and is well tolerated by baby ferrets. Make sure your kit has water all the time and change the water at least once a day.
Baby Ferret will need to have a cage, make sure its metal but not on the bottom because it will erode also make sure if the bottom is plastic make sure your ferret is not chewing and swallowing the plastic as this can be very harmful. The love to hide so make sure you have plenty of hiding places in the cage.
Your Bay Ferret will need to plenty of love and attention. So make sure you can make the time for your ferret so it will not feel alone. If you follow proper ferret care you will have a long and healthy ferret that will be your friend for life.
