Diesel Powered Trucks Performance

November 9th, 2008 by kingsx

The diesel powered trucks are not on the list of choice for many of the inexperienced buyers, owing to their higher engine cost. The excess money that you spend to buy a diesel truck can be saved on the fuel that you spend for it in a year, when compared to its gasoline counterpart. If your truck is intended to do a lot of towing or high power works then it is always advisable to go for diesel trucks as they have a longer lifespan than their gas driven counterparts. The truck gas mileage can be quite high. When the fuel used is diesel, it could save around $1500 – $2500 for 10,000 miles of driving with the diesel and gas costs assumed to be same. So, a diesel truck is nearly always a better option when it comes to mileage and life of the engine.
