If you decide to invest in developing an information product for your small business marketing plan, don’t make the mistake of giving it a name that won’t compel people to visit your website. So how important is the name of your product? Really? It can make or break a sale. A foot odor removal product called “Stinky Feet” immediately tells you something about the problem it solves. So does a product called “Mold-Be-Gone”. Immediate, these products solve a problem that their customer has. They remove the barrier, eliminating the need for the consumer to actually even have to read the container. That’s the goal for you when you use a information product as part of your small business marketing strategy. See if you can come up with a name so catchy that speaks to a pain point in your potential customers that will make it impossible for them not to purchase it.
