Have you got yourself a copy of Keyword Elite yet? In August 2009, Brad Callen released version 2 of his awesome keyword research software. I got my copy straight away, and am really impressed with it. I was already a big fan having purchased the original software back in 2006.
If you want to get traffic to your web site or blog, a decent keyword tool is essential. Keyword Elite is very decent. It returns huge keyword lists in minutes, and for every keyword it returns, it lists the number of searches that it receives per month, plus information on the number of competing sites and pages, and how well optimised each of those pages are.
It also shows you the average cost per click (cpc) that adwords advertisers are paying google. With the cpc information you can soon see how profitable a keyword and niche are likely to be.
With this kind of information, it’s really easy to identify opportunities for ranking well in a given niche.
