Easy to Prepare and Satisfying Chupe de Camarones

A one cold afternoon usually leads us to having this very comforting dish called “Chupe de Camarones” from Peru. Some consider it as a stew and the others, soup but for me and my family, it is one of those complete meals that we enjoy having together. Originally from Arequipa in Peru, this dish has a lot of variations using chicken meat, veal and crayfish but I find it very easy to prepare using shrimp as the main ingredient in addition to its distinct sweet taste. The butter stands out in every sip and the corn on the cob adds to its aesthetic appeal. I can finish a bowl or two of this tasty dish any time of the day!
