Gold Diamond Bracelets
January 19th, 2010 by datamasiIn my time I have seen a number of gold diamond bracelets and I have often wondered how diamonds are processed in the setting as I believed that gem in their most natural form, are really not that pretty at all. In fact their raw form the look is very similar to broken glass to the untrained eye. To make the diamond look exquisite it must be first cut, and then polished before it actually takes your breath away with its lustre and sparkle.
The diamond itself is cut with saws, into round shapes and from the rounded shape, other shapes may be cut, such as heart shapes but the shape is less important than the quality of the cutting that is being done. Should the diamond be poorly cut, it will lose light, and it will not sparkle and shine as it should. With each facet of the diamond must be carefully cut into the geometrical shapes that allow the diamond to sparkle and shine, the entire diamond is cut into a specific shape, such as an emerald cut or a princess cut diamond.
