Scuba Diving Basic #1: Make Sure Scuba Diving Is For You
Scuba diving is not for everyone. One has to be very comfortable with the water. It requires a strong, fit swimmer who is not afraid of marine life or afraid to go into the depths of the ocean or lake. Successful scuba divers should be able to swim a minimum of 200 yard relays without stopping to do at least a 10 minute tread and float exercise. If you have a medical condition, you should consult with your doctor before diving.
