The Highschool Reunion
June 8th, 2010 by Rachanee28Although most of us have heard about, read about, or seen others anticipate that next Highschool Reunion, the reality is that most of us go through life never actually attending one. There are often times when we reminisce those memories of what seems like a bygone age now, and wonder what happened to all those old classmates of a generation or two ago. It’s quite sad in one way how we lose touch so quickly with friends who we grew up with, spent out childhoods with, and have so many mutual memories of that time, that era, and those unforgettable days (be that good or bad), with. They are really the only ones, apart from parents and siblings, that we can share past memories with and there are of course many memories that could only be shared with them. Very few of us find that childhood relationship, that first love, that unforgettable other at school age and end up marrying him or her. Most of us actually go on to marry strangers when compared with the time we have spent with our school friends, but alas, growing apart is all part of growing up and moving on. But it’s still sad.
