Natural Predators

September 23rd, 2008 by author

There has not been a lot of seal movement and as such we have not seen a very intense amount of natural predations. There have been a number of busy days and some of these events have been very spectacular sights. Chris feels that from a photography point of view there are perhaps 10 exceptional photographic opportunities in a season. We had two events only a few days apart that he was able to capture. One of these exceptional images is of a great white shark cage diving &breaching out of the water with its mouth wide open in incredible light and the seal still in frame. You can view these images on Photo’s of the Month. On both occasions the seal managed to evade capture and this was after a protracted chase on the surface. Try Shark Cage Diving

Another unique idea for photo Christmas Cards is Christmas in the Stars, as in space, not with the stars, as in Hollywood sstars. There are some photo christmas cards of a family dressed up in real looking space suits and as if they appear on the outer space. It really looks realistic. And this is possible if you visit your nearest planetarium. There are family whose photo Christmas cards were of them floating around in what appeared to be a shuttle just like real astronauts. How To Choose The Right Digital Camera For You And Make Sure You Get The Best Price

May 8th, 2008 by author

A good place to start is to check out digital cameras at your local store. Take a pencil and paper with you to make some notes. Don’t worry about asking lots of questions, that’s what the sales people are there for. I suggest if you are worried about being talked into a purchase you leave you money at home. One thing you can get from visiting a store, that not available online or in a catalogue is the feel, size and weight. Make notes on the models that feel comfortable – you can always find their size and weight at an internet reviews site or from the digital camera manufacturers home page.

Finding Optical Solutions

April 28th, 2008 by author

It’s pretty safe to say that over the past few years digital cameras have become extremely popular. In fact it’s hard to go out anywhere without seeing a large number of people who carry a digital camera in their pockets or around their neck’s. Being able to just choose the proper optical solutions for you is the first step in the purchasing process. Depending on what you are going to do with the camera, telescope or even binoculars will depend on how much you are looking at spending.

Digital cameras are not the only type of optical solutions that can be looked at either. If you are into astronomy or nature then a telescope or a set of binoculars maybe what you are looking for. Again depending on what type of money you are able to spend, is going to depend on what you are going to be able to get out of your equipment. For many people who like astronomy, this could just be a simple hobby of theirs. They maybe able to purchase a nice piece of equipment that they will enjoy and get their money’s worth. However if it’s more than a hobby, then spending the extra money on a piece of equipment can allow them to see things they would never see on another piece of equipment.

Wedding Planning – The Photos

April 26th, 2008 by author

There are people earning full time incomes from being wedding photographers, and most do it quite selfishly to protect their business. They take the photos, get them printed and then provide an album and an order slip, charging six or seven dollars a photo for prints. When you are planning a cheap wedding you should realize that those same photos cost you between ten and fifty cents to get printed from a digital photo and some of the best photos you will get will not be from a wedding photographer but from a guests camera. here’s a tip – appoint a friend as your official photographer and let them take a heap of posed photo’s, but at the same time pass out cheap digital cameras and let everyone else join in. Collect the cameras in at the end of the day and you’ll have a great variety of snaps – both of you and the ceremony, but also of everyone else who was there, which the professional photographer will hardly ever provide.

Which Optical Solutions is Right for You?

April 22nd, 2008 by author

It’s pretty safe to say that over the past few years digital cameras have become extremely popular. In fact it’s hard to go out anywhere without seeing a large number of people who carry a digital camera in their pockets or around their neck’s. Being able to just choose the proper optical solutions for you is the first step in the purchasing process. Depending on what you are going to do with the camera, telescope or even binoculars will depend on how much you are looking at spending.

Since optical equipment varies, you’ll really want to take a look at what you are going to use that piece of equipment for. If you are the type of person who is looking for a camera to go out with friends or family, to grab those rare candid photos that pop-up every once and awhile, then just a simple camera is what you are looking for. However, if you are the type of person who is going to go out, to look for specific shots and are trying to get the most out of your equipment, then a higher end model maybe what you are looking for.

Hidden Camera Equipment

March 29th, 2008 by author

It used to be that there would always be fair warning if there was a camera somewhere, and even then, they were few and far between. They were often in larger, more populated areas, but today, they are popping up everywhere. Most of the time these are hidden camera equipment, which means that you have no idea they are there. Sometimes they are easy to spot, and other times you may have no idea. Most of them are legal, at least in retail areas, but there are times when hidden Camera equipment has no business being used at all.

The Camera Tripod

February 8th, 2008 by author

The camera tripod works well when you have to take a lot of pictures in the same spot. If you are shooting some candid’s for a wedding, for example, you may want to have guests come to have their photo taken to give to the bride and groom. You can simply set up your camera tripod somewhere safe so that you can just grab people when they walk by. When you do this, you are sure that all of your shots are not shaky, though you do have to know how to make sure they are focused correctly and framed evenly. With today’s cameras, that is simple for most people.

Show How Much You Care With Baby Picture Frames

January 24th, 2008 by author

When I was looking for a gift for my baby nephew my friend suggested to buy baby picture frames. Families are always taking so many pictures of newborns and the frames are a useful gift. The baby picture frames can be used in the nursery or any room in the house that the parents choose. They are no more expensive than giving an outfit that will only be worn a few times.Baby picture frames also leave a longer lasting impression on the reciepient because they have the baby picture frames as a reminder of the love and care that you have for them.

Digital Camera Review

January 24th, 2008 by author

Researching buying a digital camera, I realized how convoluted and baffling the world of high-tech has become. It seemed like every digital camera review had something different to say, and every week there was some new feature that was a must-have on all new digital cameras. There were digital camera user reviews, written by people who understood the technology poorly and were either hopelessly over-impressed by standard features, or hopelessly un-thrilled because they didn’t understand how to use the cameras that they had. There were digital camera pro reviews by professional photographers who had much different expectations than I did, and who were able to notice distinctions that I surely would have missed.

Pomeranian Pictures Are Cute To Look At

January 4th, 2008 by author

One favorite dog breed for commercials and advertisments is the pomeranian and it’s no wonder as Pomeranian pictures are a joy to look at. But Pom’s aren’t just good for commercials – they make great pets too!

The docile nature and affectionate temperament of this dog make it a fine choice for a show dog and pet. Showing exceptional independence for a small dog, the Pomeranian has a curious and alert personality. They don’t need a lot of exercise and are active indoors so a yard is not necessary to keep this dog happy.

Poms may be prone to eye infections, dislocated patella, skin problems, slipped stifle and heart problems. Also Pomeranians are prone to losing their teeth early and therefore it is recommended that you feed them dry food in order to keep both their teeth and gums in good condition and a regular visit to the vet’s to have their teeth cleaned is a must for this breed.

A dense, double coat is the tradmark for Pomeranian dogs and this coat can get matted very easily so daily brushing is required. The undercoat which has a cottony feel sheds usually once or twice a year. It is important that the Pomeranians eyes and ears are cleaned on a daily basis.

World War II Art

December 24th, 2007 by author

One of the World War II art works that has the most lasting influence is the image of Rosy the Riveter. This was part of a series of works to inspire women to join the workforce to help make weapons. Of all of the World War II art that was made, this image is one of the only ones which has really stuck around for the long run, inspiring feminists to organize. If only more World War II art had such noble effects!

If you’re looking for pictures of art and culture in World War 2, you probably need to begin your search on the Internet. These pieces are becoming more and more rare as time passes. The art of the “Greatest Generation” continues to inspire people today; World War II art will always show your patriotism.

Kenya is one of the main destinations for this type of vacation and a beach holiday could be combined with an African safari. The country has 40 National Parks and game reserves. One of the most spectacular is the Kimana Game Sanctuary, which is located at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. Rich rain forest is the terrain at the Mount Kenya National Park and stretching plains dominate the Masai Mara. Guides drive parties in 4×4 vehicles or in open back trucks.
