The guitar is one of the most widely used instrument on the planet. Why is that will it because of the sounds it makes and how it can be played virtually anywhere. Guitar can bring a lot of enjoyment in ones life plus making others feel good too.
So you want to learn how to play guitar. Wise choice I am full time guitar teacher and been playing 38 years you will not regret learning guitar here are my…
Top 3 tips you have to learn first for beginner guitar.
-
Learn the basic first for example the parts of the guitar, after that learn how to tune the guitar, once you master that move on to learn the basic chords. Let’s take a look at the most common chords shall we…
A major chord
C major chord
D major chord
E major chord
F major chord and the
G major chord.
These are your main ones you need to learn first.
2. The next thing you want to learn is some easy strumming patterns. The first strum pattern you need to get down first is the quarter note strumming. That is basically just straight down strumming
For example you will play in 4/4 time meaning 4 beats per measure/bar so try and play the A chord 4 strums 1-2-3-4 again for another measure 1-2-3-4 keep the strumming steady and even, then you could switch to the D chord and repeat the two bars of eight strums.
You have to keep everything in fours. So if you do two bars of the A chord you would strum 8 strums, if you did three bars of the A chord you would strum 12 times. Always keep this in mind for 4/4 time. It is the most popular time signature in music.
-
After you get your strumming down you want to learn some easy guitar songs. I like to teach childerns songs first. You have to crawl before you can walk. The very first song I teach my students is Row, Row Your Boat.
This is just the beginning when learning how to play the guitar. There is much more to learn to be a great guitar player.
As you may heard many time before practice makes perfect. It really is true so practice as much as you can. Plus having a good attitude and wanting to really learn the guitar will help a great deal.
Good luck to you!

Are you considering upgrading your sound system in your vehicle? If so, you will want to think seriously about a 4 channel audio system. So, what exactly is a 4 channel audio? Basically, the system includes four speakers, CD deck, and a processor. The speakers are normally positioned with two in the font and two in the back for the best sound distribution.
The 4-channel audio provides a rich and clear sound that creates a very powerful sound system. The result is music that is clearer and of course louder when you wish to crank the volume.
One word of advice, if you have an older vehicle, you may not have the proper electrical components needed for the upgrade, so you will want to ensure the wiring is proper or you can upgrade the wiring in your car, which is quite intensive. For newer vehicles, the wiring is normally already included so it is just a matter of installing the system.
When deciding to update your vehicle’s audio system, keep in mind the type of vehicle it is. Obviously, if you have a tiny two-seater, you will not want to get something so large that the sound cannot be appreciated. Make certain the sound system is compatible to the vehicle.

When most people think of the 80s they do not have very fond memories of the music that was on the air at the time. We tend to think of the 70s as the disco era and the 60s as the time when rock music developed. 1980 music hits included great bands like Tears for Fears and their fantastic international number one hit Everybody Wants to Rule the World and Shout.
There was also R.E.M. and their song Losing My Religion which was in many ways responsible for the proliferation of 90s style Modern Rock.
80s music hits were not limited to Pop music, but were also being created by bonafide rock bands such as Duran Duran with their hit Rio and also Bon Jovi with what many consider one of the best of the 80s music hits Livin On A Prayer. And who will ever forget Guns ní Roses with Sweet Child of Mine which sounds as fresh today as it was back then.
So you can see that with just these few examples, there were many unsung 80s music hits that never received the credit they deserved.
Whimsical music was also the order of the day and groups like Wham and their hit Careless Whispers topped the charts. A-Ha, a pop group from Sweden also rocked on with their big hit Take on Me.

Once your valuable vinyl records are warped, it’s hard to get them flat again. You also want to avoid temperature variances, definitely you don’t want them freezing and then heating up again. Climate control is best. Really prevention is the best way to treat your rare records. Cleaning vinyl records is something you really still have to do from time to time. In this age of CD’s or mp3’s, you would think that places no longer sell record cleaning fluid, but since disc jockeys still use vinyl records in clubs, you can still find it around.

Anyone who loves music loves the classics and anyone who has an ear loves old Blue Eyes. There is little wonder why Sinatra is known as “The Voice” after you take in a few notes of his songs. He was a true master of the art of singing and you can have this voice captured on a brand new Frank Sinatra CD that offers all of the classic style that you would expect along with some of the most up-to-date technology that music has to offer. Gone are the days of dusting off old records in order to listen to the great standards of American music. Now you can listen to the old songs on a Frank Sinatra CD.

When I was first starting out as a local musician, I never thought that it was important to copyright my music. I always assumed that music copyrights were for the big, corporate artists who had signed to major labels. Why would someone small like me require a music copyright? If anything, I wanted my songs to be copied and shared. I wanted people to use them in remixes, to trade them with friends, and to play them anytime they could. This is how small artists grow – by being having their music shared throughout the community. Music copyrights at best do nothing to stem this, and at worse, discourage people from copying CDs.

Online guitar lessons are a great way to learn guitar. Cheaper and more convenient than private studio lessons, the technology is now at a point where the difference in quality is nonexistent and actually has many advantages.
Many guitar instructors are limited to a certain style. With the better online courses the styles and musical genres are practically unlimited. There is no boredom factor involved either. Many students quit guitar lessons if their teacher doesn’t know the songs, artists or type of music they like. The top courses cover all the bases. If you don’t like certain musical styles, don’t play them and go on to something else more interesting.

First things first, you have to want to learn how to sing and you should probably like to sing. If you don’t like to sing because you sound terrible, that is ok as long as you are willing to learn. Second, remember that while I recommend that you use every chance you have to sing, like in the shower, in the car, while you clean the house, this should not substitute your daily, or every other day, practice.
Getting started
Getting started is easy, and you probably already have if you like to sing. Get out your favorite cd and sing along. If you are not used to singing at all and find it embarrassing, wait until you are home alone and put on the cd loud so you, or at least your neighbors, can’t hear you sing.
Try to get in at least 30 min. of practice in every other day. Do not practice every day when starting out, you might strain your voice and cause you problems from the get go.
After 1 month
This could easily be the first thing you do, and if you have sung for some time and are used to your voice, be free to skip the “Getting Started” advice. Now it is time to practice more effectively, and what I recommend for this stage is to open the yellow pages, search for singing teachers and schedule one lesson. Ask that you be able to record the session, if the teacher says no call a different teacher.
Now, when you have this practice session with the singing teacher, bring along a tape recorder, or other recording device. Set it up so that it records best records the song teachers piano and the instructions he or she calls out.
If the recording is a success you will be able to practice to this tape every day if you like, and it is free. Remember, what you don’t get when you follow this route is correcting instructions, so pay extra attention to your own voice while practicing.

Professional music recording software has become very affordable these last years, with cheap computer offers flooding the market, and the software manufactures lowering their prices and adding new functions to their products. But now you can also get free music recording software, which can be more then enough for a musician on a budget.
Starting out with a free music recording software product can be a great way for a musician to get their “feet wet” to the world of hard disk recording. Learning the ins and outs, lingo, and common functionality in these programs can take some time, but it is worth it. Using free software, which doesn’t have all the bells and whistles as the expensive products, can be help you focus on what’s important. After all, you want to make music, not sit for days reading a manual.
Here is a list of free music recording software that can be found on the Internet for immediate download.
Audacity
A free, open source, music recording software for Windows, Mac, Linux and other operating systems. Their web site states that you can use the software to:
Kristal Audio Engine
A free audio recording software, for personal, educational and non-commercial use. It is a powerful multi-track recorder, audio sequencer and mixer, and is great for anyone wanting to get started with digital recording.

Like any instrument, and the guitar is no exception, if you want to be able to play fluently and competently then understanding how to learn guitar scales will enable you, in the long run, to be able to play the guitar like your favorite band or solo artist.
By learning how scales work you will be able to replicate a song simply by listening carefully to how it sounds. Although for any beginner this may seem extremely difficult, it’s actually a relatively simple process to understand…

You probably have a hard time determining if you should buy something and even a harder time deciding which of the items from a wide variety, suites your needs. Before you buy mp3 player for example, figure out what kind of an MP3 user you are. Since these gadgets come in a range of shapes and sizes and support different formats and varying memory sizes, choosing an MP3 player that meets your needs and your personality is an important consideration and will help narrow the field as well. Consider an example that can use this criterion. If you are a commuter, you definitely need a portable player and some noise-canceling headphones to go along with it. It should also be high capacity to hold most if not all of your music.

Thank god for the internet. It’s not only made communication and commerce easier by a factor of 1000, it’s given us access to the information we need for anything from fixing your car to planting your garden just a few keystrokes away. No more need for expensive professionals; we’re a DIY world now. Instead of having to fork over hundreds or thousands of dollars, all it takes is an internet connection, a clear head and some perseverance to find whatever it is that you’re looking for. One of the most fun DIY adventures can be learning an instrument, or specifically taking the time to learn guitar online. The guitar is, of course, the defining instrument of blues and rock and roll, so it’s only natural that most of us, at some point, have picked one up and tried to figure it out.

In 1962, at 23 years of age, Bob Marley recorded his first two singles. These two songs, “Judge Not” and “One Cup Of Coffee” received little attention.
In 1975 Bob Marley had his first international hit with “No Woman No Cry”. A year later he was diagnosed with cancer. He continued to record albums and play concerts until his death in May 1981 at age 36.
“Buffalo Soldier” did not appear on record until 1983 and went on to become a big hit and one of Marley’s best known songs.

The Rolling Stones have endured a long and successful career, selling over 200 million albums world wide in their 40 plus years on stage.
One of their greatest hits was “Honky Tonk Women”. It was released in 1969, just 7 years after their formation, and was instrumental in catapulting them into the world spotlight.
“Honky Tonk Women” was released on 4 July 69 in the UK and one week later in the US, and was a chart topper in both countries. It was written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards in Brazil at the end of 1968 while they were on holiday.
The distinctive, and unforgettable intro to the song features a guitar riff, but with the beat played with a cowbell. Jimmy Miller, the Rolling Stones producer, played the cowbell for the recording.
“Honky Tonk Women” has often been referred to as the greatest rock and roll song of all time. Check out a video of a 1969 version of the song played live at Hyde Park.

Music is one form of art which has managed to sail through the passage of time. Each decade marked a new phase towards the growth of music. This was something that people of those times related to and felt attached to. One such era of rich and distinct music was the 80’s. The 1980’s was the time of young men and women with big hair and shoulder pads crouched over keyboards! The songs written and sung in thsi time period represented these people. These songs were great to dance to and a stark contrast to the punk music that had gone before. In the UK, the New Romantics were bands with flamboyant outfits and band names. The Human League, Adam Ant, Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet and Depeche Mode provided some terrific hits for the 80’s and were winners in their own way.
During this time Michael Jackson was at the height of his stardom when his album, Thriller was released in 1982. It went on to become the biggest selling album in history, producing the hit singles, Billie Jean, Beat It, and The Girl is Mine (a duet with Paul McCartney). The music of 1980s also belonged to Soft Rock which too was alive and well, spearheaded by Bon Jovi with their album, Slippery When Wet.

If you are planning a gathering or an event for someone special, an appropriate venue will be useful to create the atmosphere. The venue is the location where the event will take place. Finding special event venues is much easier today than it used to be thanks to the Internet. Before starting your search for a location you will need to work out the details of your event. First of all, what kind of event are you planning? A corporate conference will require a very different venue than a child’s birthday party. Keep a notebook where you can record details, notes and ideas regarding your event.
In your notes you should record what kind of event you are planning, the date of the event, how many people you expect, whether you need an indoor or outdoor location, and any other pertinent details. Having this information written down in a notebook will come in handy when you are researching different venues. Once you have the basic information written down you can start searching for locations and planning the details. In addition to the Internet you can also search the Yellow Pages although you are likely to find more detailed information online.

In my opinion the best way to reach out to kids is through their music. Kids love to sing and music also help you bond with your kids There is nothing wrong with rock ‘n roll, or even rap if it suits the tastes of the younger generation. It is all about reaching out to people to gain new believers. Christian music can also bring a family closer together. The most important thing to remember is that the church starts with the family. Finding good music that everyone can sing along to is crucial to bringing a community of believers together. . After all, almost all children love to sing, and it is all the better if they can get their parents to join along. Remember to have fun with it!

So you see, it’s not the easiest list to make. It’s not even the easiest list to think about, because guitar solos have a way of effecting different people in disparate ways. I may love David Gilmour’s chops as shown on “Money,” but someone from a more technical point of view would never list that particular solo in his or her top hundred. It’s a very personal thing. I spent a lot of time thinking about the 100 greatest guitar solos when I was in my “Pearl Jam” phase in the mid-90s. “Alive” comes readily to mind. Since then the guitar solo has not precisely gone away, but it’s played less of a central role over the last fifteen years of music.

We can all learn how to sing, if we want to. I’m sure those who have undergone vocal training, who at one point of their lives, aspire to learn how to sing, can attest to that affirmation. But, there are those what experts call “tone deaf,” they may not benefit from vocal techniques.
Attending singing lessons may be a good way for you to learn how to sing. Here’s a saying I would like you to live by: If anyone can cook… anyone can learn how to sing. Find more singing tips, techniques and vocal exercise at http://howtosing.org.

In the old days when young boys and girls were required to attain certain accomplishments so as to be received into polite society, it was the prerequisite that everyone learn the piano. Even middleclass families, who liked to copy the upper classes, made sure that their children learned to play the piano well enough to show off among their friends. Well into the sixties, every small town has a nice lady who gave lessons. Children went to her house for one hour one day each week for these precious lessons. At least they were precious to the parents.

Computer generated music has always been a subject that fascinated me. Practically since the beginning of electronics, people have been generating electronic music. In the early days, people experimented with big banks of oscillators, generating songs through laborious and complex processes using analog circuits. The theremin, the digital analog synthesizer, and many other interesting instruments came out of this experimentation. Nowadays, computer generated music is incredibly sophisticated. People can write, arrange, and play whole scores without so much as touching a piano keyboard.

The great thing about Martin acoustic guitars is that they only get better with age. The guitar I am playing now is my dad’s – the same when I started out with. I have a few guitars that look better, but none of them sound as good. This guitar is something like 30 years old, and the wood has had time to age and mellow. Although the body is scraped up, I made sure to keep the guitar in good shape otherwise. The neck is straight and true, and the body has a richness and depth that is out of this world. .

NFMC, which is short for National Federation of Music Clubs, work very hard to create a charismatic musical and cultural environment throughout their communities using education and sponsorship of musical events. The NFMC defends American music with awards and commissions. November is considered American Music Month by the NFMC. An annual Parade of American music focuses on programs of music by great American composers. Awards are presented every year in recognition of educational institutions for their promotion and presentation of American music. The NFMC has musical scholarships through music competitions in keeping with the support of great music. In fact, they may be one of the largest providers of musical awards and scholarships from their various music competitons. For instance, do you want your car MP3 player to come with a built-in charger? Do you need it to be able to accommodate portable music players like an iPod or Zune, or are you planning to use a memory card? Answering these questions first will help you gain a better understanding of what kind of car MP3 player you should purchase. Once you figure out your features and budget, you can begin the comparison shopping process. I recommend reading car MP3 player reviews first, particularly if you’ve never used one of these devices before. To the inexperienced consumer, these products might all look the same, but obviously that’s not the case. Different manufacturers bring different quality levels and performance to the table, even on devices in the same price range, so it’s a good idea to read reviews from people who have firsthand experience with the item in question.
